VRF alternative launches new indoor units

NETHERLANDS: The TripleAqua three-pipe hydraulic heat recovery system will introduce a range of  cassettes, high walls, suspended, cased, slimline and ducted series at next week’s Chillventa exhibition in Nuremberg.

In addition, the monobloc CO2 refrigerant outdoor unit will also be available as a split: an ultra silent gas cooler outside and a compact technical box in the plant room.

To complete this VRF alternative, new compact 3BX valve boxes will also now be available. This addition will simplify the installation and commissioning further, as there will only be two pipes between the manifold boxes and fan coils.

TripleAqua enables simultaneous heating and cooling with heat recovery like any VRF, but uses CO2 refrigerant in the outdoor unit and variable water flow as heat transfer fluid. Comfort and performance levels are said to be equal to what would be expected with four-pipe fan coil systems.

The new indoor units, all available from early 2025, come in 17 models, with outputs from 1kW to 20kW. These can be coupled to various capacity outdoor units – the largest having a 473kW output.

TripleAqua is manufactured by Sinop, an independent privately-owned HVACR manufacturer and a leading producer of beer cooling systems in the Czech Republic.

The TripleAqua is now represented in the UK by ICG Heat Pumps and its MD Richard Warry
