Watsco expands US locations

USA: Leading US HVACR equipment distributor Watsco has completed the acquisition of Gateway Supply Company, a distributor of plumbing and HVAC products with locations in North and South Carolina. 

Founded in Columbia, South Carolina in 1964, Gateway Supply has annual sales of approximately $180m and serves approximately 4,000 customers from 15 locations in South Carolina and one location in North Carolina. 

Watsco operates the largest heating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) products with 689 locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico, and on an export basis to Latin America and the Caribbean.

Since entering distribution in 1989, Watsco has completed 68 acquisitions.
