Wolf returns to head Chillventa

GERMANY: Petra Wolf, former press officer to Chillventa, has returned to the NürnbergMesse management team of the leading refrigeration and air conditioning trade fair.

In her role as expo and conference director and a member of NürnbergMesse’s management board, Wolf now assumes responsibility for its building & construction and retail & consumer goods portfolio. Her responsibilities with Chillventa will include the European Heat Pump Summit, ACREX India and REFCOLD India.

Wolf started work at the venue in 1997 as a press consultant, and from 2000 was responsible for the marketing and press work for exhibitions including IKK, Chillventa’s forerunner. After being involved in the management of the first Chillventa in 2008, Wolf took over as NürnbergMesse’s international division executive director in 2009. Most recently, she has been head of expo and conference II, which encompassed numerous world-leading trade fairs.

“Chillventa and its industry have always been important to me and I’ve kept a keen eye on them throughout the last few years,” Petra Wolf said. “I have felt a connection to the trade fair and the topics it covers since the beginning. That’s primarily because it is now over a decade since we first developed and launched the Chillventa concept in conjunction with our exhibitors – and the exhibition’s success vindicates the concept, because it works excellently. Chillventa’s outstanding development is great proof of that. I’m obviously very proud of that and am really looking forward to Chillventa in October 2020, even in these turbulent times.”

The next Chillventa is scheduled to take place from 13 to 15 October 2020 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre.
