GERMANY: Electric motor and fan manufacturer Ziehl-Abegg is to open a new 14,000m2 €25m production facility in Vietnam.

The official founding ceremony of Ziehl-Abegg Vietnam took place today in Ho Chi Minh City.

Production at the new facility is scheduled to start in the first half of 2024, with full-scale production set to commence by the end of 2024.

The facility will comprise 12,900m2 of production area and 1,100m2 of offices.

This latest announcement follows recent Ziehl-Abegg investments to expand production capacities in Poland and the United States, in addition to ongoing investments in Germany.

“To meet the increasing customer demands, we need to expand our production facilities worldwide and establish new ones to get closer to our customers,” said Ziehl-Abegg production director Joachim Ley. “The new facility in Vietnam is particularly important for the markets in Asia and Australia; it helps us continue to offer our customers the best possible solutions.”
