Aspen claims quietest-ever pump

UK: Aspen Pumps is to launch what it claims is its quietest-ever mini elbow condensate removal pump.

The Silent+ Mini Lime, which follows last year’s successful introduction of the Silent+ Mini White, is described as a next-generation pump delivering “unmatched performance across the board”.

Aspen says it will be the ideal partner for air conditioning systems everywhere, especially those installed in environments where the reduction of ambient noise is critical.

“We incorporated the technology used in the Silent+ Mini White, both electronics and software and, as a direct result, we’ve developed an intelligent product that is effective, reliable, energy efficient and virtually inaudible,” claimed Aspen technical director Walter Martin.

This technology is said to ensure the pump’s noise level never exceeds 16dB(A) at 1m.

According to the manufacturer, the pump dynamically adapts to its environment resulting in up to 10x less energy consumption than its predecessor and is suitable for use with the most powerful mini splits on the market.

Launching on July 1, The Silent+ Mini Lime will be backwards compatible with plug and play cable and will fit all Aspen trunking, as well as the majority of competitor trunking systems. It can be commissioned on site and can be fitted in a right or left elbow joint. It also boasts a flow rate of 40 l/h, has a larger tank and head capability than its predecessor and comes with a three-year guarantee.
