CCR revamps the QuietCO2OL condenser

GERMANY: Carrier Commercial Refrigeration has launched a new version of its QuietCO2OL, an advanced CO2 condensing unit designed to deliver unmatched performance, flexibility and efficiency.

Building on the success of its predecessor, which was first introduced in 2017, this latest version is said to be packed with innovative features.

At the heart of this new version is the MCXH gas cooler, engineered to ensure a lower refrigerant charge or accommodate larger evaporators. This enhancement reduces the refrigerant and oil charge, while also making the unit lighter.

With oversized receiver options up to 12.5L, available in all sizes from now until February 2025 (depending on the model), can operate with distances of up to 70m. Larger evaporator volumes are also available.

The new version’s revamped design offers easy access to valves and filters and features a factory-mounted, serviceable suction filter. The liquid sight glass is also now visible from the outside, making servicing simpler than before. The addition of extra lifting holes has made handling and installation safer and more convenient.

To further enhance user experience, Carrier Commercial Refrigeration has introduced an online CO2 and oil charge estimation tool, allowing for more accurate and efficient operation.

The inclusion of an inverter on the compressor and EC fans ensures low energy consumption, while an electrical power supply for consumers and a simple, intuitive display enhance the overall user experience. The QuietCO2OL is also fully connectable to BMS via Modbus RS485, providing seamless integration with your existing systems.
