CCR upgrades CO₂OLTEC platform

GERMANY: Carrier Commercial Refrigeration has announced a major upgrade to its flagship CO₂ refrigeration range, claiming even greater performance, serviceability and efficiency.

Launched in 2010, Carrier’s CO₂OLTEC range has sold thousands of units worldwide.

This new generation has been re-engineered to make it easier to start up and service. A new instrumentation panel centralises all key sensors and pressure gauges, while an optimised suction line layout offers better access to components, simplifying routine maintenance.

The CO₂OLTEC range comprises the MiniCO₂OL with cooling capacities up to 380kW for medium temperature applications and 110kW for low temperature applications and the MaxiCO₂OL for larger-scale operations, with capacities of 550kW MT and 360kW LT.

Both models use CO₂ and are available with a variety of energy-saving solutions, including LSPM compressors, vapour and liquid ejectors, parallel compression, heat reclaim, and many other high-efficiency options tailored to different operational needs.

Compressors are now equipped with the IQ module, allowing for remote diagnostics and monitoring, said to be a significant advantage for predictive maintenance and reducing downtime.

To streamline installation and commissioning, each unit is delivered with 100% pre-set instrumentation and parameters and undergoes enhanced factory testing, minimising startup time on-site.
