CO2 compressor for multiple applications

ITALY: Frascold’s new TK HD series transcritical CO2 compressors are designed for a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning applications, as well as high-temperature heat pumps up to 100°C.
With two motor versions, the range encompasses four sizes for a total of 34 models, with a range between 3hp and 50hp and volumetric displacements between 1.9m3/h and 37.9m3/h at 50 Hz. An inverter option offers greater flexibility.
The new compressors feature anti-friction treatments and a new surface finish to reduce wear and extend service life.
Optimisation of the internal components and painstaking mechanical balancing are said to have contributed to significantly reducing the noise level to between 64.5dB(A) and 76dB(A).
