Danfoss oil management level regulators

DENMARK: Danfoss has announced the release of a series of compressor oil management level regulators (COM).

The COM 10C, 20C series feature alarm function and compressor switch off, as well as adaptive power-on logic with fast-time response.

They are said to be applicable for fixed speed and variable speed compressors, both semi hermetic and hermetic.

They are listed as being suitable for use with a wide range of HFC and HFO refrigerants and, with operating pressures up to 130bar, also CO2.

The COM family is based on Hall sensor technology meaning it utilises a float mechanism combined with a Hall effect sensor and thereby providing superior performance in order to control and effectively manage oil level and oil returns on each compressor and enhancing system lifetime.
