Fujitsu tie-up brings Clint heat pumps

ITALY: The launch of a new range of R410A heat pumps by GI Industrial Holdings is the result of the Italian manufacturer’s collaboration with Fujitsu General.

The Thermica units, sold under the company’s Clint brand, are offered in sizes from 6kW to 10kW with hot water production up to 55°C.

The launch follows the agreement signed by Japanese manufacturer Fujitsu and Italian group GI Industrial Holding (GIH) in 2017 to collaborate on the development and sales of commercial air conditioners. The deal was described as a comprehensive tie-up of products for overseas markets including Europe.

Equipped with DC inverter compressors, EC fans and an integrated hydronic unit with high efficiency EC circulator, the Thermica units are said to guarantee heating in heating ambients of -20°C and high efficiency at partial loads. The range reaches the energy class A +++ at 35°C and A ++ at 55°C.
