Hussmann adds CO2 supermarket system

USA: Hussmann has expanded its Protocol family of supermarket refrigeration systems with the Protocol CO2.
The new model employs a new medium temperature compressor with direct vapour injection and variable speed scroll technology. In addition, it also incorporates an economiser to reduce gas cooler return temperatures to further improve efficiency.
Designed for indoor installation, the Protocol CO2 is available in many pre-engineered capacities for medium and split temp applications to fit into the most compact package possible.
Serviceability is improved by the incorporation of removable panels on all sides and by positioning the flash tank assembly below the compressor section of the unit.
