Manage Panasonic heat pumps in cascade

UK: Panasonic is launching its new Cascade Manager, Aquarea Cascade Edge, including P-Smart Edge and P-Smart Nexus.

Together they provide seamless control over heating, cooling, and DHW in a cascade system. These solutions have been designed to meet the growing demand for the management of energy-efficient heating and cooling in various applications, including central heating projects, small hotels, supermarkets, and restaurants.

The new Aquarea Cascade Edge comes in 2 models PAW-A2W-CME4 for up to 4 units and PAW-A2W-CME10 for up to 10 units are fully compatible with all models from H generation onwards.

All necessary Cascade components are enclosed in one casing and are ready to use, a Modbus interface is required for each heat pump unit.

The Aquarea units in cascade can be controlled and managed online by P-Smart Edge, with easy connection via a tablet, phone or laptop. The P-Smart Edge provides local web visualisation of the Aquarea units connected in cascade and remote management of the system – without the need for being present onsite.

P-Smart Edge provides remote monitoring and operation status of the units, so units can be managed and analysed from anywhere.

The user-friendly interface provides plant overviews, alarm settings, control monitoring and settings, providing managers with full access of sites and ease of visualisation when managing Aquarea heat pumps.

Also available with the Aquarea Cascade Edge is the P-Smart Nexus, a multi-side remote management tool. It provides users a remote global supervision of all sites in one place, 24/7 control of all the installations, easy connection to Aquarea Cascade Edge without special on-site network setup, online visualisation, no installation of any specific software is required, no limit to the number of sites that can connect to an account, and a 3-year subscription from the start-up is included.
