Panasonic adds more voice control languages

EUROPE: Panasonic has expanded voice control for its domestic air conditioners to include a number of additional European languages including Italian, Spanish, French and German.

The Japanese manufacturer added English-language voice activation via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa last year to provide simple and convenient control for its domestic air conditioners and commercial PACi system.

In addition to Italian, Spanish, French and German on Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian languages have also been added to operate with Google Assistant.

Once paired with a Panasonic air conditioning unit via the Comfort Cloud app, users can use simple voice-controlled controls such as on/off, operating modes, checking operating status or temperature settings with a simple voice command.
