Panasonic expands R32 hydronics portfolio

EUROPE: Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions has announced the latest addition to its commercial hydronics portfolio, the ECOi-W AQUA-Z DC.

Operating on R32, these new chiller/heat pumps come in a wide range of capacities from 150kW to 380kW, with the potential to reach 3040kW in cascade configurations.

The full range comprises 10 cooling-only models and 13 reversible units. They have been designed on three chassis sizes and designs: a bended coil chassis, and two multi-V chassis.

A key feature of the ECOi-W AQUA-Z DC is its double circuit design, incorporating four scroll compressors to ensure continuous operation.

The range is designed for ambients of -14°C to +50°C. Maximum SEER is 5.2 and SCOP is 4.0.

Noise reduction is another priority, with the units available in both standard and super low noise versions. The super low noise models are equipped with compressor jackets for sizes 150kW to 170kW and both compressor boxes and jackets for sizes 190kW to 380kW.
