SWEP extends 250AS BPHE range

SWEDEN: SWEP has extended its brazed plate heat exchanger portfolio with another single circuit evaporator for high efficiency reversible chiller and heat pump applications.

The new V250AS targets reversible chillers applications with higher temperature approach. It is designed for medium to low efficiency applications where the pressure-drop over the distribution device needs to be low.

The V250AS extends the established 250AS range, which was first launched in 2016, and covers an operating range from 80 to 250 kW. The 250AS range also includes the F250AS and P250AS evaporators and the B250AS condenser models.

The large ports combined with SWEP’s AsyMatrix plate pattern are said to improve heat transfer while decreasing water pressure drop and refrigerant charge. The range can be used with a majority of the current high-pressure refrigerants.
