HPA celebrates 20 years with first conference

UK: The Heat Pump Association (HPA) is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary at its first annual conference in London in November.
Entitled Heat Pumps: How to go further, faster, the conference will take place at the British Library on November 26.
According to the HPA, the event will gather together leading voices from across the heat pump sector to provide a series of talks, panels and speaker sessions focused on solutions to accelerate deployment across the UK.
Keynote speeches will be delivered by Miatta Fahnbulleh MP, minister for energy consumers, Nick Winser, commissioner at the National Infrastructure Committee, and Paul Kenny, director general at the European Heat Pump Association.
With sessions spanning heat networks, green finance, and the Future Homes Standard, the agenda features a wide range of experts including Dr Jan Rosenow (University of Oxford), Dr Emily Nurse (Climate Change Committee), and Madeleine Gabriel (Nesta).
The day will close with remarks from HPA patron and National Energy Mission champion, Tom Hayes MP, followed by a networking drinks reception.
