Jonas Steen appointed Beijer Ref CEO

SWEDEN: Wholesaler Beijer Ref has appointed Jonas Steen, currently chief operating officer of its EMEA business, as its new chief executive officer and president.
He replaces Christopher Norbye who left the company in August and is due to become CEO of Swiss medical equipment manufacturer Straumann in December.
Jonas Steen will assume his new position on 1 November 2026, succeeding Joel Davidsson, who will continue as acting CEO and president until then. Joel Davidsson will thereafter continue in his position as CFO.
Steen has been with Beijer Ref since 2010 and has also served as COO for APAC and as VP for the Nordic region and Eastern Europe.
He will continue to serve as COO EMEA during a transition period, alongside his new role as CEO.
