IOR to host briefing on electric future of RACHP

UK: The Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) will host the next International Refrigeration Committee (IRC) business briefing which will focus on strengthening RACHP sustainability amid electricity market volatility.

Securing the Future of RACHP in a Volatile Electricity Market will take place on 26 November at Austin Court, Birmingham.

According to the organiser, this one-day executive briefing is designed to translate energy system change into clear commercial actions, helping delegates protect margins, future-proof assets, and identify new opportunities in a more flexible, decentralised power market.

Topics will include:
A review of the benefits of acting early and investing strategically, set against the commercial costs of preserving the status quo;
An exploration of how electrification of transport and integrated energy systems are reshaping site energy demand and creating new optimisation opportunities;
A grounded look at how DSR works in real environments with a focus on commercial models and operational realities in settings such as cold storage and large-scale HVAC systems.

Tickets are available from £90 plus VAT. To register, visit https://ior.org.uk/events/irc26
