Large refrigeration presence at Euroshop 2026

GERMANY: Refrigeration technology will have a large presence at next year’s retail EuroShop exhibition in Düsseldorf from 22 to 26 February next year.

This triennial event will be celebrating 60 years since its premiere in 1966. The intervening years have seen the trade fair develop into the world’s leading platform for the retail industry.

Around 1,900 exhibitors from over 60 nations will present their solutions and products on an exhibition area of more than 100,000 m2 net in a total of 14 exhibition halls.

Although the economic situation in the retail sector is currently challenging and characterised by upheaval, the organiser reveals that many exhibitors have already decided to participate at an early stage. Interest is particularly strong in the areas of food service equipment, retail technology, refrigeration and energy management.

According to the organiser, the refrigeration and energy management area, with over 25,000m2 of space, will be particularly large. This area not only demonstrates the need for energy-efficient technologies and sustainable refrigeration but also how strongly retail gastronomy is booming.

More information about the trade fair is available at www.euroshop-tradefair.com. Tickets will be available online from 11 November.
