CO2 heat pump company opens UK office

UK: Danish CO2 refrigeration and heat pump systems manufacturer Fenagy has established a UK office in Leeds.

Established in 2020 and based in Aarhus, Fenagy has been majority-owned by wholesaler Beijer Ref since 2021. It is a manufacturer of heat pump products for large industrial applications typically used in district heating.

The Fenagy UK office is headed by Beijer Ref’s business development director Paul Bevington, who will be supported by the Danish and UK management teams. Bevington has a wealth of knowledge of CO2 cooling and heating applications and technologies, having previously spent over 20 years working for a number of leading companies including Carter Synergy, Green & Cool World Refrigeration AB, Epta and Carrier Commercial Refrigeration

Beijer Ref describes this latest development as “a natural progression”, enabling Fenagy to locally support current and new UK projects.
