Former Hawco MD to head K2 Engineering

UK: Martin Butler, former managing director of Hawco, has joined Surrey-based refrigeration consultants K2 Engineering (Cooling) as MD.

Incorporated in 2005, K2 specialise in food retail and distribution, being involved in the new build and extensions of temperature controlled areas and food stores nationwide. 

Butler left Hawco last year after 25 years with the Godalming-based distributor. Originally joining as sales engineer, he worked in a number of roles before being appointed MD in 2019. In 2023, Martin Butler led a management buy-out backed by private equity company Bay Tree from owners Diploma PLC.
