Greencold move expands sustainable capabilities

UK: Refrigeration and air conditioning contractor Greencold has greatly expanded its sustainable cooling capabilities following a move to larger premises in Wellingborough.

Established in 2005 in Kettering, the company had become severely restricted by its former premises. The new 333m2 premises on the Park Farm Industrial Estate in Wellingborough has provided the extra space needed to expand its portfolio of environmentally sustainable cooling system offerings, such as those using CO2.

“While we have historically been specifying ammonia refrigerant for our industrial customers we have also more recently been developing systems using CO2 and with the experience and success achieved so far we feel these new premises provide us with a great base to build from,” said Greencold’s director of operations Vanessa Smith.

In addition to providing much needed extra office and workshop space, the new premises enables the company to bring its system testing in-house.
