Mansfield Pollard partnership targets data centres

UK: Bradford-based air management company Mansfield Pollard has announced a partnership with mission critical facilities company BladeRoom Data Centres. 

Build on a 15-year relationship between the two companies in supporting data centre cooling, the new partnership will see collaboration in research and development to meet growing demand for advanced air and chilled water-based cooling solutions to support AI and high-performance computing applications.

Significant results are said to have already been achieved, with over 210MW of IT cooling delivered to date, and further systems in production.

As cooling requirements increase, the partnership will place added emphasis on innovative approaches, including hybrid system architectures that combine the strengths of air and liquid cooling. According to the companies, these designs enable seamless integration within new or existing facilities, and support retrofitting strategies that extend the lifecycle of established data centres.

“Both companies have a strong focus on responsible manufacturing and driving innovation, making this partnership a natural evolution in our long-standing relationship,” commented Mansfield Pollard chief executive Louise Ellis-Frankland.

“Our expertise in creating custom, highly energy-efficient air management solutions integrates seamlessly with BladeRoom’s focus on low-energy, highly efficient data centres of any scale, anywhere in the world.
