Murray Sharp honoured at Scottish Dinner

UK: Murray Sharp, the MD of air conditioning and refrigeration distributor Kooltech, who so tragically passed away in August, was honoured with a standing ovation at last night’s Scottish Dinner.

It was fitting that the owner of the company which sponsored the annual Kooltech Award for outstanding contribution to the industry should, himself, be honoured with that award. The announcement produced a spontaneous standing ovation from the 500 guests present at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow.

The event, which continued its sell-out success, also saw Lewis Purves of PDC Refrigeration and Air Conditioning named as the the Institute of Refrigeration Scotland Apprentice of the Year.
