UK: NIBE heat pumps have been selected for the new £720m Procure Plus programme to boost the deployment of renewable technologies across the UK social housing sector.
The four-year Supply of Low and Zero Carbon Technologies framework supports housing providers and local authorities in delivering large-scale retrofit programmes to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions in UK homes. It is focused on cost efficiency, quality and compliance, innovation and social value.
NIBE has been selected across three key lots: air-source heat pumps up to 15kW, ground-source heat pumps up to 15k, ground-source heat pumps above 15kW.
In line with Procure Plus’ commitment to driving innovation, impact and social value, the framework places strong emphasis on supporting skills development, supply chain resilience and positive outcomes for residents and communities.
“Being selected across multiple lots underlines NIBE’s expertise and commitment to supporting housing providers in achieving their decarbonisation goals,” commented NIBE Energy Systems (UK) MD Paul Smith. “Our product range, training programmes and service network are all designed to ensure long-term reliability and comfort for residents, while helping landlords reduce emissions and energy costs.”
