Panasonic offers warranty options

UK: Panasonic has introduced a range of UK warranty options of up to seven years on its air conditioners and heat pumps.

From December 1, the Japanese manufacturer will offer Standard three-year, Extended five-year and Extended+ seven year warranty options for its products purchased in the UK.

The five and seven years options are dependent on the installer successfully completing the relevant training from Panasonic or an authorised Panasonic distributor.

“Linking the Extended and Extended+ warranties to training adds value for installers and their customers, ensuring they are compliant, competent and fully trained to install Panasonic heating and cooling products, safely and correctly,” explained technical manager Paul Aitchison

For those selected and trained installers, Panasonic will extend the warranty period to seven years if the installer submits their warranties to the Panasonic PRO Club website. The installer will also receive the added benefit of higher rates for maintenance and repairs.
