Space opens apprentice scheme

UK: Space Engineering Services is now open to applications to join its commercial refrigeration apprenticeship scheme.

The intensive scheme by the Bristol-based refrigeration contractor is designed to bring individuals into the engineering sector through a programme of accelerated learning and skill development in commercial refrigeration. Apprentices receive hands-on experience, combined with technical college and support from mentors, college tutors and experienced engineers.

The scheme has been developed in partnership with Cool Concerns.

“At Space Engineering Services, we recognise the vital importance of attracting new talent to the refrigeration and air conditioning industry,” said Space joint MD Mark Woods. “Engineering is such a diverse sector with fantastic career opportunities, so we’re really pleased to be able to launch this apprenticeship scheme.”
