Beijer Ref reports record quarter

SWEDEN: Wholesaler Beijer Ref has reported record-high sales and profit in the second quarter of 2026.

Net sales were up 6% to SEK10,785m (€976m), while EBITA was SEK1,301m (€118m).

Organic growth of just 1% was said to have been negatively affected by high comparative figures from Cool4U, the Hungarian distributor acquired in 2025 which, at that time, reported extremely strong sales during the first half of the year. Adjusted for Eastern Europe, underlying organic growth was 5% – driven by record-high growth in Beijer Ref’s OEM companies SCM Frigo and Fenagy.
