Bitzer marks 100,000th Ecoline

GERMANY: Bitzer has celebrated the production of its 100,000th Ecoline refrigeration compressor, an updated range it only started manufacturing in April.
Bitzer developed the compressor at the international skills centre for reciprocating compressors, which is based at its Schkeuditz plant. To supplement production in Germany, production operations have recently been successfully launched at manufacturing facilities in China, the USA and Brazil.
“Our new Ecoline has had a very good reception from customers and has quickly established itself thanks to its wide range of applications,” said Volker Stamer, Bitzer’s recently appointed new director of Stationary Products at a small celebration to mark the milestone.
