Carel appoints sales and marketing directors

ITALY: Carel is continuing the reorganisation of its sales and marketing department, following January’s promotion of group sales and marketing director Giandomenico Lombello to group MD.
The controls and humidification company has now split the role, creating two group chief sales and marketing officer positions – one for refrigeration and one for HVAC.
The refrigeration interests are being looked after by Alessandro Greggio, who has been with Carel for 13 years, the last seven of which have been as group head of marketing – retail & refrigeration.
Roberto Sandano, the new HVAC man, has also been with Carel for 13 years, most recently as group head of marketing – HVAC.
Carel says that both these appointments are aimed at “strengthening the focus and coordination of the sales and marketing processes in a context of strong growth and increasing competitiveness” in the markets where Carel operates.
