Daikin forms embedded software joint venture

THAILAND: Daikin Industries (Thailand) has established a joint venture with Toyota Tsusho Nexty Electronics (Thailand), a subsidiary of the Japanese company specialising in embedded software development for the automotive sector.

Daikin Toyota Tsusho Nexty Electronics (Thailand) Ltd will initially begin with contract development of embedded software for distributed inspection technology. In the future, the company’s capabilities will be expanded to meet the software development needs of Daikin Group’s air conditioning development bases, including those in ASEAN countries.

The aim is to shorten lead times and optimise costs for software development in air conditioning systems, while also strengthening the future development infrastructure.
