Daikin officially opens Polish heat pump plant
22nd May 2026
POLAND: Daikin Europe has officially opened its new Daikin heat pump production facility in Ksawerów, near Łódź, Poland.
The new €300m, 320,000m2 factory, which began production last year, held its inauguration ceremony yesterday, attended by representatives of the Polish government, the Japanese Ambassador to Poland, local authorities, suppliers, and other partners, alongside senior leadership from Daikin.

The new facility serves as a key production base within Daikin’s European manufacturing footprint. It primarily produces residential heat pumps to meet the growing demand for sustainable heating solutions across Europe.
The factory includes a 120,000m2 production line, office space, and an amenities building, all situated on a 26 hectare site. The entire building features a Daikin heat pump air conditioning system and is designed with a zigzag facade to the offices to reduce solar heat gain.
