Daikin reports 18% increase in Q1 sales

JAPAN: Daikin has reported an 18% increase in first quarter sales to JPY1,426.8bn (US$9.05bn), with operating profit up 8% at JPY130.5bn (US$827.9m).
Europe saw the largest increase in sales over Q1 2025, up 23% to JPY213.6bn ($1.35bn), while its largest market, the Americas, was up 18% at JPY551.9bn ($3.5bn).
Sales in Oceania/Asia were JPY188.8bn ($1.198bn), a 19% increase. It’s domestic sales were JPY191bn, an increase of 17%.
