Haier signs Netherlands distribution deal

NETHERLANDS: Haier HVAC Solutions Europe has signed a distribution deal with Dutch electric heating equipment supplier Masterwatt.

Founded in 2016, Masterwatt has established itself as a specialist in electric heating solutions in the Netherlands, serving a wide range of residential and commercial building applications. It offers technical back-up and operates its own service department, as well as providing in-house training programmes for customers and industry stakeholders.

The partnership will initially focus on the distribution of Haier air-to-water heat pumps and heat pump water heaters.

“Masterwatt is well established in the Netherlands and offers comprehensive support to both wholesalers and installers,” said Chris Johnson, Haier HVAC Solutions’s northern European head of heating. “We are confident that this collaboration will deliver a highly competitive product portfolio, underpinned by a strong level of customer support for professionals across the heating and renewable energy sectors.”

The Haier products join Masterwatt’s existing portfolio of products from German heat storage and electric heating products manufacturer Technotherm, the Norwegian stainless steel boiler tank manufacturer OSO Hotwater, and Polish company Kospel, a producer of heat pumps, buffer tanks, and instantaneous water heaters.
