Konieczny to head Roof Top Unit group

BELGIUM: The new Eurovent Roof Top Units product group has elected Filip Konieczny, ventilation and air conditioning manager/export technical specialist at Polish manufacturer Flowair as its first chairman.

Konieczny will be supported by vice-chairman Alberto Bellù, product manager rooftop and air handling units at Mitsubishi Electric Hydronics & IT Cooling Systems SpA. The secretariat of the Roof Top Units product group is provided by Eurovent deputy secretary general Francesco Scuderi.

The new product group aims to open up possibilities for Eurovent members to become more active in this specific manufacturing field within the association. It was set up at the request of Eurovent members in light of the upcoming revision of regulation (EU) 2016/2281 which covers ecodesign requirements for air heating products, cooling products, high temperature process chillers and fan coil units.
