LG updates the Artcool

artcoolstylist2newsKOREA: LG Electronics has unveiled a new version of its Artcool residential air conditioner.

The striking new Artcool Stylist Inverter V is a unique square wall unit employing inverter technology and featuring subtle LED lighting and a new three-way Soft Airflow feature, which is said to distribute air evenly to ensure greater comfort.

The successor to the original Artcool Gallery launched in 2001, the Artcool Stylist has already received international acclaim, picking up a 2014 International Forum (iF) Design Award at the end of February.

Measuring only 121mm deep, LG Artcool Stylist is 25mm slimmer than its predecessor and hangs unobtrusively on any wall. The boldly reimagined unit features a ring of LED lighting that changes colour to indicate cooling or heating status and can also be adjusted to suit any mood or ambience.

LG’s innovative RAC unit emits a soft stream of air to the sides as well as the floor.

Offering cooling outputs of 1.3-4kW and heating outputs of 1.3-5kW, the Artcool Stylist boasts an SEER of 3.21.

According to LG, the Artcool Stylist will be shipping this month across CIS countries, Europe and Africa.
