LG Electronics USA chooses Cho

USA: William Cho, a 26-year veteran of LG Electronics, has been named president of LG Electronics USA.

He succeeds Wayne Park, who has been promoted to global sales & marketing officer, LG Electronics.

Cho was, for the last two years, the senior executive responsible for LG’s global residential air conditioning business.

He served as president of LG Australia and president of LG Canada, as well as holding key sales roles in the USA.

Park assumes the new global sales & marketing officer position after serving since January 2011 as president of LG Electronics USA, leading the company’s growth in the USA. Previously, he led sales and marketing for LG Electronics in the Korean market. Among other high profile positions, he also served as President of LG Canada.
