MCE show confirmed for March

ITALY: It has been confirmed by the organiser that Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) will return as a live event from 8 to 11 March next year at the Fiera Milano.

The event will be the first MCE since 2018 after the 2020 event was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

It is planned that Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2022 will occupy the entire exhibition area of Fiera Milano, covering 325,000m2. The in-person edition reschedules the comprehensive programme of events, conferences and industry meetings. Over 1,100 companies are said to have already confirmed their presence.

The organiser Reed Exhibitions insists that the events will be in accordance with the safety measures laid down by Italy’s Ministry of Health and its own protocols. This will include checking body temperature at all pedestrian and vehicle access gates to the apparent obligation to use face masks.

In addition, access to the event will only be permitted to those with vaccine proof. Hubs for rapid tests will also be located near the entrances.

The communication and promotional activities for the involvement of foreign visitors, one of the jewels in the crown of MCE, have already kicked off. “We are currently organising two roadshows to present the new edition of MCE 2022 to foreign professionals in a highly engaging manner – declared Massimiliano Pierini, MD of Reed Exhibitions Italia.

The meetings will take place this autumn, first in Europe (Great Britain and France) and subsequently in the USA and Canada, then in South America and finally in South East Asia.
