Modine lands $4bn data centre cooling deal

USA: Modine claims to have entered into a $4bn long-term capacity agreement with an unnamed data centre customer for its Airedale by Modine cooling solutions.
Modine has received an upfront cash payment of $165m under the contract which runs from 2027 through 2029.
“This landmark agreement is a testament to the successful execution of our long-term strategy to grow our data centres business and validates our position as a technology leader,” said Neil D Brinker, Modine’s president and CEO.
“The dedicated capacity and upfront investment will allow us to confidently expand our operations to meet the stringent demands of our customer,” explained president of Modine’s data centres business, Art Laszlo.
