Modine opens new factory in data centre cooling push

USA: Modine has opened a new factory in Franklin, Wisconsin, as part of an expansion of its data centre cooling manufacturing capacity.

The 155,000ft2 (14,400m2) facility is part of Modine’s multi-year $100m investment announced in July and will create more than 300 new jobs by March 2026.

In addition to Franklin, the $100m investment will include a new manufacturing facility in Grand Prairie, Texas, and expansion in Grenada, Mississippi, and Jefferson City, Missouri, to support data centre growth.

The City of Franklin announced the planned new facility at 3303 West Oakwood Road in January. The City offered $1.6m in tax increment financing to support the project.
