Müller heads energy recovery group

BELGIUM: Peter Müller, a managing partner at Swiss heat recovery company Polybloc, has been named chairman of  Eurovent’s Energy Recovery Components group.

Müller will take over from Timo Schreck of Enventus, who has been chairing the group for more than 10 years. The new chairman will be supported by Thomas Richter, responsible for business development in the energy recovery area at Hoval, who was elected vice-chairman.

Seeing energy recovery bing of ever-increasing importance in the ventilation area, Peter Müller said: “Today, nearly each new air handling unit requires heating or cooling recovery due to legislative requirements and its significant contribution to lowering energy demands.”

Eurovent’s Energy Recovery Components group is the largest grouping in its product area in Europe, with close to 20 manufacturers as members.
