Nordic Climate enters German market

GERMANY: Acquisitive Swedish contractor group Nordic Climate has now entered the German market with the purchase of four companies based in Hamburg and Eastern-Westphalia.

The companies – Friedrich Reitemeier GmbH, Versorgungstechnik Stüve GmbH, Karl Busch Installationen GmbH, and HRW Gebäudetechnik GmbH – together employ around 200 people, with annual revenues of approximately €40m. The businesses are focused on commercial and industrial refrigeration, heating and energy-efficient projects.

Based in Vlotho, Friedrich Reitemeier GmbH was established in 1949 and describes itself as one of the most efficient companies for heating, air conditioning, sanitary and environmental technology in East Westphalia.

Versorgungstechnik Stüve GmbH Halle was formed in 1998. Based in Halle, it operates throughout East Westphalia-Lippe.

Karl Busch Installationen GmbH was established in 1922. The company is based in Bunde and operates across heating, plumbing and air conditioning.

HRW Gebäudetechnik GmbH is a medium-sized Hamburg-based company with around 50 employees established in 1967.

“Germany is an important market with strong long-term demand driven by energy efficiency, modernisation needs and the transition towards more sustainable solutions in cooling and heating. These are well-managed companies with strong technical expertise, deep local customer relationships and a culture that fits Nordic Climate Group very well,” said Nordic Climate Group president and CEO Fredrik Gren.
