Panasonic to begin European production

CZECH REPUBLIC: Panasonic is to commence production of air-to-water indoor units from a factory in the Czech Republic.

The Japanese manufacturer has confirmed that production will commence this autumn from production lines at its existing state-of-the-art television factory in Plzen. The move will also increase Panasonic’s r&d capabilities.

The Cooling Post first revealed the company’s plans last year. Panasonic currently supplies worldwide customers from plants in the Far East – Japan, China, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines. It also has a factory in India for the local market.
