Price of Chinese R32 set to rise

CHINA: The long-term contract price for R32 from China is set to rise nearly 20%, according to Chinese commodity experts.

Increasing worldwide demand for the lower GWP refrigerant for domestic air conditioning is said to have increased the long-term contract price for Chinese R32 to CNY60,200/ton (around US$8,460), a rise of CNY9,600/ton, or 18.97%, compared to third quarter prices.
