Quinn Downes joins Syclef Group

FRANCE/IRELAND: The Dublin-based Quinn Downes Group (ODG) has become part of Syclef, the rapidly expanding network of industrial and commercial refrigeration and HVAC companies.

Established in 1999, Quinn Downes has grown into one of Ireland’s leading providers of mechanical services, HVAC installation and commissioning services. The group comprises two specialist companies, Quinn Downes Installation and Quinn Downes Service & Maintenance. They employ more than 130 people across Ireland.

Operating in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Africa, the Indian Ocean Region, Poland and Ireland, Syclef now brings together 70 operating companies, more than 136 locations and 3,550 employees.

The Quinn Downes Group’s leadership team will remain in place, with the existing directors continuing in their roles and remaining as shareholders in the group. QDG will continue to operate as normal.

This latest move represents Syclef’s entry into the Irish market and strengthens its growing European footprint. Syclef says it intends to support QDG’s continued growth while preserving the group’s identity, autonomy and longstanding culture of excellence.
