Sauermann buys US instrument firm

FRANCE/USA: Sauermann has expanded its test and measurement interests by acquiring US company E Instruments International.
Based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, E Instruments International is an industrial designer and manufacturer of instrumentation solutions focused on emissions, combustion analysers, and indoor air quality. With manufacturing facilities located in the US and Europe, the company focuses on solutions for industrial, HVAC, commercial, and institutional markets worldwide.
A leader in condensate removal pumps, Sauermann’s acquisition of E Instruments expands its portfolio of instruments. In 2015, Sauermann acquired well-known instrument maker KIMO.
Sauermann says this latest acquisition solidifies its commitment to growing technology and investment in an American platform. It also significantly boosts the Group’s R&D, manufacturing, service and warehousing capabilities in the US and the Americas as a whole.
Describing the move as a huge step forward for the company’s evolution as a global brand, Sauermann Group CEO Serge Bohyn said “The acquisition of E Instruments International significantly strengthens our presence in the US test and measurement instrumentation market and broadens our global portfolio to include and enhance combustion, volatile organic compound, and various indoor air quality solutions.”
