SRF to double R32 production

INDIA: Chemical company SRF is to spend an estimated €22m on a new R32 refrigerant plant at Dahej in Gujarat.

The new plant will be an addition to the Indian company’s current plant in Bhiwadi in Rajasthan and will double capacity to 80,000 tonnes per annum. It is scheduled to be commissioned in December 2017.

SRF refrigerants are sold under the brand name of Floron in India and elsewhere.
