Swegon CEO to step down

SWEDEN: Swegon Group CEO Hannu Saastamoinen is to leave the Swedish HVAC manufacturer this month.

Announcing the change on his Linkedin page, Saastamoinen said he would be leaving the company this month. 

Saastamoinen, a Finnish national, was previously CEO and president of Huurre. He joined Swegon  at the beginning of 2013 following the retirement of Mats Holmqvist.

Paying tribute to colleagues, staff and owners Investment AB Latour, Saastamoinen writes: “My personal journey takes me back to Finland and a role change leaning more towards board work and interim assignments.”

Swegon has not yet announced a successor.
