Trox Skybeam wins German design award

GERMANY: Trox’s Skybeam multi-functional chilled beam has won the Energy category of the German Design Award.
The award is given for innovative products and projects, their manufacturers and designers who are groundbreaking in the German and international design landscape.
A passive cooling convector, the Skybeam can be equipped with a variety of lighting elements and additional components, such as smoke detectors or motion detectors, and can even be retrofitted with an outside air connection. Various colour combinations are available.
The Skybeam was developed in association with London-based international architecture firm Rogers Stirk Harbor + Partners.
