MALAYSIA: Vertiv has opened a new 21,900m2 manufacturing facility in Johor, Malaysia, to support growing demand for AI and high-density computing infrastructure across Asia.
The new facility, in Senai, Johor, one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing industrial markets, will manufacture CoolChip coolant distribution units, as well as its prefabricated power solutions and infrastructure systems.
It will incorporate advanced manufacturing technologies and automation tools to support end-to-end manufacturing, assembly, and witness testing.
“Asia continues to be one of the fastest-growing regions for AI and digital infrastructure investment, and expanding our manufacturing footprint in Malaysia aims to further enhance our ability to support customers with quality, speed, scale, and resilience,” said Giordano Albertazzi, CEO of Vertiv.
The facility is expected to bring up to 500 skilled jobs to the region, when fully operational in 2027.
